Bring your birthday, reunion or private gathering to the canyon. Tell us what you have in mind and we’ll work through the food, drinks and details together.
Four wedding dates each year
Four dates to be announced · limited lodging
A wedding with a little wild in it.
Four pre-determined dates each year, with food, drinks and shuttle service included. Overnight lodging is planned for the couple and immediate friends and family only, because cabin space is limited.
Donkey rides · coming soon
Coming soon
Meet your long-eared guide.
A future canyon outing with donkey rides, a guided tour and lunch. We’re getting the details together; ride dates and participant requirements have not been announced.
Star parties
Dates by inquiry · minimal hiking
Look up. Take your time.
Spend an evening viewing the stars through telescopes, with food and snacks along the way. Minimal hiking is planned; ask about the route, dates and access needs.
Outdoor yoga · Cabin in the Hole
Dates by inquiry · private cabin setting
A slower morning in the canyon.
Outdoor yoga at the private cabin known as Cabin in the Hole, with refreshments, coffee, tea and snacks. Ask about session dates and the route to the cabin.
Kid’s scavenger hunt
Dates & details by inquiry
Little explorers, big discoveries.
A playful way for kids to discover the canyon’s little details. Ask about the next hunt, suitable ages, the route and accompanying adults.
Experiences are being planned. Inquiries do not confirm dates or availability. Woodland/observatory pictures are generated illustrations, not photographs of a venue.
STORIES WE’RE STILL WRITING
More than a stop along the trail.
For generations, pack animals have carried supplies into the canyon. Today, the store, porch and Maggie’s Tavern bring hikers, cabin neighbors and families together.
These generated pictures are mood illustrations. Sturtevant Camp has its own reservations; it is separate from the station’s cabin rental. Check road, trail and campground conditions ↗
Find us at Chantry Flat in Big Santa Anita Canyon. Bring a little curiosity, leave time for the deck, and check current road and trail conditions before you set out.
