LESS CONTENT MAINTENANCE. MORE CANYON TIME.

A content desk,
with a visual editor.

Recommendation: use a structured CMS as the source of truth, let staff click a preview to edit the right field, and offer an optional prompt assistant that proposes narrow changes. Publishing remains an explicit review step.

Which editor is best?

MethodBest useTradeoff
Click-to-edit / constrained WYSIWYGReplace a photo or edit the words you see.Needs named editable regions; keep staff away from layout/code changes.
Simple structured formsDates, times, location, hours, downloadable maps and contribution methods.Less free-form, but one reliable record can update every design.
Prompt assistant“Replace the picture on the upper right with this one.”Ambiguous locations need visual selection. AI should show the exact proposed change before applying it.

The improvement is the workflow

A beautiful new site can still become stale. Give the owner a short weekly queue, auto-archive dated events, distinguish off-site posts from station events, and show when hours, maps and donation details last received a review. In production, send reminders only when something needs attention.

The prototype demonstrates drafts, click-to-edit targets in the actual three site concepts, uploaded photos/maps, scripted prompt suggestions, event expiry, donation-method editing, before/after review, local published previews and version restore. All state stays in this browser. Social imports, real AI, shared accounts and server publishing are not connected.

Be fair about GoDaddy

GoDaddy has several different products under the Airo brand. Its documentation describes Airo AI Builder as supporting conversational prompts, manual edits and code editing. It also documents direct image replacement. Those are capabilities to match, not claim as unique to our proposal. The station’s exact product, subscription and enabled features remain unconfirmed.

A practical implementation path

First observe the owner completing one photo edit and one event update in GoDaddy. Review the bill and the features they actually use. If the existing builder already meets their needs, simplify its workflow and provide a maintenance routine rather than moving platforms solely for AI editing.

If a custom site is warranted, keep these content fields in a managed CMS with a small owner interface. Add secure media storage, draft/preview/publish revisions and role-based access. Then add optional AI that returns a validated content patch; reject unsupported or ambiguous requests. Use existing payment providers for contributions rather than building a new payment system.

Measure the outcome: can the owner replace a photo and publish a verified event in a few minutes without help? Does the event disappear from upcoming listings after it ends? Can they restore a version and update donation instructions safely? The interface is ready for owner testing; full GoDaddy parity has not been established.
